In this episode the crew talked about listening and being led by God.

SPEAKER_04

Welcome back to the Everyday Kingdom podcast. I'm Caleb, and I'm here with Miriam and Raphael.

SPEAKER_02

Good morning.

SPEAKER_04

Good morning. Good morning. It is a good morning. It is. I read somewhere that this is the day the Lord has made.

SPEAKER_02

We can rejoice.

SPEAKER_04

And we will be glad in it. That's right. Yay. It's a great day. And today we're going to be talking about.

SPEAKER_01

Today I will not choose violence.

SPEAKER_04

We're going to talk about not choosing violence. And instead, we're going to talk about walking with the Lord and finding balance in our walk with Him and not leaning upon our own understanding as we are walking with the Lord. I think it's interesting when you talk about walking with God, there's so much that is like wrapped up in that, right? Like thinking about walking with the Lord. And we were just talking about, you know, how what are we going to talk about today? And uh as we were praying, the Lord transported me back to a time I used to live in a neighborhood. And I remember one day I was going for a walk in my neighborhood. And as I was walking with him, I just began to have a conversation in my heart with the Lord. And what I thought, like what I visualized, was someone literally walking alongside me. And I thought, man, how easy would life be if I just had you right here walking with me, just telling me what to do all the time. And I think sometimes that's the kind of the perspective that we often have of God, is it's like, just tell me what to do. Oh yeah. Right? Like, instruct me and how I should, how I should live, how I should walk.

SPEAKER_01

I'm an obedient son. I will do, I will do it. Just tell me exactly what choice to make, and that's the choice I'll choose.

SPEAKER_04

And I I think like there's I you hear the heart in that is really, is really pure and beautiful because it's like, I want to do your will. I want to walk how you want me to walk. I want to, I want to glorify you, and I want, I want to make you proud. Like ultimately, like I want, I want you to be proud of me. I want to hear, well done, good and faithful servant, at the end of the day. But as I was walking with him, I I said that out loud. You know, I said, you know, wouldn't it be nice if you were just walking alongside me? Knowing in my mind, he literally is with me and I'm carrying him with me wherever I go. But it was just this visualization of him walking beside me. And his response to me was, Well, where's the fun in that? I'm like, what? Where's the fun in that? If I just sit here and tell you what to do all the time, how are you gonna live? And I thought, well, that was not the response that I was expecting, you know, because I'm thinking he's gonna be like, good answer, son. Yes, I'm always well, I am always with you. Lo, I will never leave you nor forsake you, you know, like, but the response was, you know, where's the fun in that? And then of course, anytime that God speaks to me, it's never the first thing that he says that's like the end of the statement. It's always he says something, then it prompts me to say something back, and then we get into this conversation. So that response that he gave me prompted a conversation about walking together.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And so I thought, man, let's talk about walking together today and what it looks like because I think I think God wants to reveal some stuff to us and for those listening today about you know what he's like and and how not not just what he's like, but how he wants to interact and walk with his children.

SPEAKER_01

Are you telling me that he doesn't just want to take over my body and do everything? Just use me, Lord, move through me.

SPEAKER_04

I don't know if you realize this, Miriam, but you are actually a puppet and he's the great marionette. Right. That's great physician, you know, he's the he's the great healer, he's the good shepherd, he's the great marionette. Right. I read that somewhere in 2nd Barnacles chapter 4. I was like, careful. 2 Barnacles chapter 4. No, God's not the great marionette.

SPEAKER_01

Right. But how many of you are?

SPEAKER_04

That's the relation that oftentimes takes place.

SPEAKER_01

Or that we seek for. We're like, I don't trust myself. I can't, I can't make these decisions. I need you to do it.

SPEAKER_04

Your heart is deceitful above all things. So how could you trust it? Well, oh my. But you see, we use scriptures like that, and then it becomes a mantra and a lifestyle that it's like, you know, and and and listen, like it's born out of a desire to please God. Sure. And to do what's right. So the motivation of that is is is pure and beautiful. But I think God wants us to learn how to live and not just be like, control my every moments, control my every, like be the marionette of my life. And and and I get it. And like we're talking about a fine line here that we're walking and we're talking about today. So please, as you're listening, hear what we're saying and don't hear what we're not saying. Okay. We're not saying, God, I don't need you to tell me what how to live. God, I don't need your instruction in my life. God, I'm gonna live my life and you're gonna be okay with it. That's not what we're saying. But what we're saying is I think God is so much more than just here's a list of rules to live by. And if you don't live by these, lightning bolts are coming your way, just be ready.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_04

You know, I like the pair the pendulum gets shifted and swung so hard. So I'll tell you a story that um really helped me to kind of see better how God relates to me. And it's again through through personal interaction that that he and I have had, conversation that he and I have have had. And um it just it helped to free me in my mind with some things. And that was one day again, I was just spending some time with the Lord, and uh, we were uh I was um talking to him about dancing, and because because you ever watch those videos of uh like a little kid and they're standing on their parents' feet and they're dancing together, and it's just super sweet, right? And and I had seen one of those videos and I just expressed the Lord, I was like, God, that's that's how I want to live my life with you. You know, that that that it you're carrying me, and I'm just you know, it's footprints in the sand. Like I'm just I'm I'm dancing with you, and we're just dancing together, and I'm just a little kid having such a good time with you, and I'm on your feet, and you're just moving me along, and and he said, Caleb, that's really sweet. But I would rather you know what my steps are and dance with me than to step on my feet and make me carry you. And I just thought about that and I thought, that's interesting. Because while God has the ability to carry us, just as any father will would carry his kids, you know, if needed. I think the heart of a father is to to teach and to train and to grow their kids into maturity, that not only does he not need to carry them, but they already know the steps of the dance because they have spent such close time and proximity with their father in the dance that they know this is what this is what he's about, these are the moves, this is how he would respond. This is how he would respond. This these are his ways. And and it just it it changed something in my my mentality about how I'm interfacing with him from just tell me what to do and I'll do it. Because here's the thing about that this is what the Israelites clamored for. Give us give us the law. In the old testament, they come out of Egypt and and God's like, I want to make you a nation of kings and priests, I want to establish something in you that this is how you were originally designed to to to be. This is what I've created you for, but you've you you have lived subservient as as slaves for so many years that that you don't understand what that type of life is like. What you've grown accustomed to is a life of tell me what to do, Lord over me. A life of bondage, a life of bondage. You know, and and so this is what you know. And so when I when when God's like, I want to bring you up out of that, and and instead of being the one who's who's in bondage, you're actually set as kings and priests over nations, uh, their response to that was, you know what, we don't really want that. Give us some rules to live by, give us a a a lower level covenant to abide by and to relate to you with. Uh and and so God's like, that's not what I want, but this is what I'll give you because that's what you're asking for. And so you have you see this, this now this set of rules that that then bind the the Israelites into into law and into obedience. And and the whole thing about that is if you are obedient to that law, then you're blessed. You know, and so it with that understanding, that's that is often how people even today still relate to God. It's like just give me the rules and how I should live so that my life is blessed. And and and I'll abide by those rules because what happens then is is when you give me a checklist, I get to turn my brain off.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

That doesn't really requ that that literally just requires obedience for me.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, exactly. Because I I can become a robot. Right. And I don't need uh a spirit of God to do anything. And I'd I I can literally live from the carnal nature of good and evil, and you know that's good. That's that's enough for me.

SPEAKER_04

Right. Just the the the the carnal when you when you're talking about carnal, you're not talking about spiritual. That's when you're when you're saying carnal there, but the carnal nature of morality and obedience. That's all I'm doing is is is is I'm just morally being obedient. And it I don't need the spirit of God to be obedient. Like it you hear that and it's like, wow, that that sounds crazy, but I don't I don't need the spirit of God to be obedient to something. If I am just afraid that if I don't live this way, that that I can I can all I have to do is just be obedient and walk this out, and my life's gonna be blessed. I don't need the spirit of God for that. I can just choose to do that, right? Through my will, because it's something I recognize is beneficial for me. So I get to shut my my heart off, my brain off, and I become robotic in obedience, which is greater than sacrifice. If you actually have a relatable being that is spirit and truth that wants to relate to you on a spirit and truth level, that that is saying, look, I want to go beyond just giving you a list of rules to live by and and and to abide by it, because there's actually greater life found in knowing me than there is in abiding in these rules. And that's what I want for you. And so if you want to abide by the rules and and live that way, you can you can write yourself this letter of death. Because if you don't abide by it, you're abide, you're choosing to abide outside of life, right? Outside of knowing me. Because life is only found in me. And so I know we're talking about kind of deeper spiritual principles, and I want to bring it to practical, but but the idea was this, and this is what God brought me back to is this space of I I want you to know me so well that you don't need to stand on my feet, that you can walk and dance with me because we have such an intimate relationship together.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. As as you're talking about this, I'm thinking about there's many thoughts that um it can fly like a bird, like a crow or a or a vulture, right? It can fly really high, it can go really far, it can flock together with other birds. But there's something that flies higher than a vulture or a crow. And the contracts that we try to make with God of good and evil, like if I do this, I'll be rewarded this, or I I mean, those are low things. Not saying those things can't fly, our thoughts can't fly, but there's something that supersedes everything that can fly. And when we grab a hold of what he's saying to a heart level, it's not just a head head level, it go it goes real down low. It go it goes into every part uh of your being. Through the bone to the mirror. Yes, yes. And when you receive wisdom, the the knowledge of good and evil was never meant to be um not had. Let me let me rephrase that. Carnal wisdom of good and evil was never meant to have, but there is wisdom that comes from God above, as the book of James says, that he gives freely. And so you can have wisdom from a carnal perspective, which is like I can do it my way and I know this is good, and like try and test out everything. Like, let me put water in a car and see if it runs, right? Or let me put that. I'm learning good and evil now, right? Like it's like, or let me put some oil in my body, like a ton of like gasoline, or let me put oil on my hand and light a flame and see what happens. You know, that's it's carnal. But the Spirit of God lets you know this is good. Do this.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Will you accept this? And it's it's not a command, it's just like, hey, this is life. Yeah, this is life, this is abundance, this is your prosperity. This flies uh higher above everything that you know, everything that you've tested.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. And I I I think that it's important for us to to understand that as we're relating to God, he relates to us in in multifacets, like multiple facets. It's not just one singular facet. And the majority of the time, people only relate to God through instruction.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Like that is their relation to God. It's instruct me, it's teach me, right? And that is a major facet of who he is because he is teaching us how to live, how to move, how to have our being in him, what that's like. The instruction of God is good for reproof and for for growth and and and for correction. Like this is the th those are very real and true things. But if the only relation that I have to God is is instruction, then I'm actually missing out on other facets of relating to him. And and so it's it's coming to this place, it's like again, coming back to that that phase of like, I just man, if I because the thought I had as I was walking was, man, if I just had you, if you were just walking here, you know, right alongside me, then then when you speak, I could literally just speak what you're speaking. How like how how easy would that be to have somebody constantly walking beside you, being like, say this, do this, right? And it which is like what Jesus did, right? With with Father. He says, I only uh do what I've seen the father do, and I only say what I've heard the father say. So there is this parroting in that sense uh that that takes place, but but really what it is ultimately is it's time spent with with with Father so intimately that you know what his responses are gonna be. Notice he didn't, he he's not saying it's this is just father speaking through me. He's saying I only speak what I've heard him say, right. Or I've seen him do. Right. Meaning I've watched him do these things and now I'm gonna do those things as well. It's I've watched him dance this dance, and I'm not stepping on his toes. I know what the dance steps are. I I know how to walk this as well. That is instruction, but that instruction came through time spent intimately with him, watching and observing. And if you think about it, like in your relationship, each one of us are parents here, each one of our relationships with our children is gonna vary, but it's also gonna be very similar. It's and it's gonna look something like there's gonna be time spent with me loving on them and just being with their abiding with them. There's gonna be time spent with me um teaching them and instructing them and saying this is how we do things. And then there's gonna be time spent where I'm correcting them because they didn't do the things that they were taught or instructed to do. And so, but those are the the the three main, and in the abiding, there's you know, playtime and fun time and food time and all of that, but it's just time together where I'm not necessarily instructing them. And so I think for us, what we get to learn in our walk with the Lord is what does that balance look like?

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

Like what does that walk look like? Because the majority of the time people are all about the the the teaching and the instruction, and then they don't really like the correction, but maybe if you're a a super religious person, you're like, you know, like God correct me, step on my toes. I'm not even kidding, guys. Like I've had people, I've had people come into church and like, man, I really love it when you step on my toes. I'm like, why are you so masochistic?

SPEAKER_01

Like it's just it's a it's a training, you know, it's it's almost like you feel like if I'm not, if I don't feel chastised, then I'm not repentant, then I won't repent. Right. Or my mind can't change without that. And then that's that's the only voice of fathers that you hear.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

So even when you're like, you you're like, you're having a conversation with him, you know, like you said, you're you're walking along, you're asking, he's like, Well, that wouldn't be very fun. You know, that wasn't corrective, that was just his his voice to you. Yeah, you know, and I was thinking about this just a minute ago because I was thinking about how we relate to father and how how how we hear him or whatever. And I I asked him something, he's like, Well, you know, it's because of you did this and this and this. And then I said, What? And and he said, Does that sound like me? He like just arrested now, and I, you know, because I started to immediately feel condemned in that, like, because it wasn't correction, it was just it was my internal monologue saying, This happened, so this has to happen. You know, and yeah, justice. And so he said, Does that sound like my voice? And I was like, No, it doesn't. Let me just listen a little bit more, you know. So we just had a little conversation there, and he just kind of brought me back to this place of, I love you, I want what's best for you. Continue to choose love, you know, in that. But it's so easy for us to pick one and then just sit there in that. And because of that, there's not the balance. And you know what? This correction hurts my heart or it convicts me in such a way, I don't like feeling this way. So I'm just gonna cut that off and just blindly follow whatever you say, Lord, you know, and so we do that to insulate ourselves from pain. Right. I'm gonna remove my heart from it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And that's what exactly like what you were saying, you know, earlier, Roth. It's like I I'm I want to turn into the Christian robot. Yep. Uh I'm removing my heart and the the responsibility. Listen, here's what it is. I'm gonna remove the responsibility of having to tend the garden of my heart because it's harder to tend the soil of my heart than it is for me to just raise the ground. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, and and and and and just be like altogether, you know, whatever. It's it's harder to sit in the ugly stuff and and to actually have to face it and deal with it than it is to just take that, remove it, keep it over here in its own little box, and me just yes, whatever you want.

SPEAKER_01

And the thing is, you know, when you when you come across a person that is like that, you like you can you can sense like when you're interacting with somebody, you can sense oh, they sincerely love the Lord, yeah, but wow, this feels fake, or wow, this feels like they're not willing to deal with something, or or wow, why can I not know them in a deeper way?

SPEAKER_04

And and what what the the reality is is that Father wants to actually deal with those things and to heal us of the hurts and the pains and the misunderstandings, the misconceptions. Like he wants to address all that, but he's not gonna go in and weed it out when he's given us the responsibility to tend the garden.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

When he's given us that and said, Here, I want you to tend this garden.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, sit with this.

SPEAKER_04

He's not gonna go in and just be like, Okay, I'm gonna take care of that for you until we say, I need you to help me with this, Dad. Like why am I struggling with this?

SPEAKER_01

Why do I think this way?

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And then when you hear his answer, okay, so where did that start? You know, okay, so help me think differently about this. You know, and he he will he is so so faithful to sweetly and tenderly walk you through that repentance.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. You know, and and I think that's the beauty of Jesus comes and reveals God as Abba, as dad. And it's interesting to me because there's so many people out there who they relate to God. Like in the Old Testament, you have people relating to God as Yahweh, as Adonai, Jehovah, you know, and and he's and he's holy and and he's mighty and he's a warrior and he's a redeemer and he's all like he's all of these, he's he's God is savior. And you have people relating to him in all of those contexts, which he is. Yeah, please hear me, he is those things. But then Jesus comes and he reveals him as Abba. And I think a lot of times that's so hard for people to to to grasp onto because of their relational context and understanding of what dad is. You know, I had abusive father, I had absent father, I had dumb father. You know, I mean the thing about Hollywood and how it portrays dads right now. Yeah. You know, the majority of it, it's like you're you're so dumb, you don't know, like A, you need a woman to tell you what to do. And B, all you can do is maybe fire up the grill. Like that's the portrayal of dad. So it's no wonder and no no question as to why people have a hard time receiving that when you begin to talk about Abba because they're like, well, Abba is low level, you know, King is high level, mighty Yahweh, Adonai, like that's up here. But Jesus didn't come and reveal Adonai and Yahweh, and he came and revealed Abba. So maybe Jesus was trying to bring us into this place of understanding that Abba is the highest relational level of connection and revelation of who he is, and all of those other things are in that, but that he's taking what we understand as Abba on this level down here lower, and he's elevating it to say, no, this is what it truly is, and this is who Father truly is, and who we get to be in him. And so then in moments where we expect just judge to come in and to to to sentence my life because of all of the shenanigans I've been you know putting up with and dealing with and doing here, then I expect just judge to come in and just penance, penance, penalty, punishment, right? Bang. I gotta pay it back. Instead, you have father coming in and saying, Let me heal that. And that's hard to accept and to receive because the way that I perceive God is just judge and not Abba.

SPEAKER_00

What if the the Garden of Eden and Adam and Eve were not a the them leaving the garden was not a rebuke, but it was just like, hey, you have this garden, I want you to grow this garden. I want you to show my glory throughout the whole entire earth. Adam is to till the ground, take out the the heart of stone out of the ground, take out the stony parts, like change your mind in these places, change the atmosphere in these places, just like we're supposed to. You know, Jesus is baptized in the water. The father says, This is my son, hear him, right? The the dove goes upon his shoulder and he goes out into the wilderness, right? He doesn't stay exactly in the same place where everybody knows, like, yeah, this is the Son of God, like the Father just spoke, and there was lightning and there's thunderings, and the same Jesus is going into the wilderness to show the power of God, of taking stones, not turning them into bread, not turning them into something that people can consume on their own lusts and just die, but truly giving them something that flourishes in any environment and takes out weeds. You know, like that's the heart of God with us. He really wants us to break up a hollow fall ground, heal that plant seeds, make things grow, expand your temp pegs. That that might be another word, like go to the next part of your property, like do something, build something new. Like that's continually the heart of God is I want to like on day one, this is good. Day two, this is good, day three, this is good. Day seven, oh, rest is good. And he's showing us something new even today, and he's saying, All these things are good now. I want you to do what you were created to do, and you are good.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, not only are you good, he says you are very good. Yeah, yeah. I like that when he creates man, when he creates mankind, he he looks at it and he says, You are very good. It's the only creation that he said, you are very good, you know, because we're made in his image. That's right. We're made in his likeness, and we were made for multiplication, we were made for growth. His kingdom only knows increase. That's right. You know, and so we were we were created to continue to grow. And and I think that's that's the thing that we get to come into greater understanding about as we're walking with the Lord is is understanding that, you know, maybe the space that I'm relating to him right now is is is at this level, you know, it's at a five, and he wants to bring me to a six, and then he wants to bring me to a seven, eight, nine, and continue to grow from glory to glory. And and if I only stay in the place that I know because it's what I know, then I'm I'm only gonna stay in that space. But he's wanting to bring me into even deeper understanding of who he is and and how he relates to us. And so maybe today if you're listening and the way that you have understood God or related to God in the past has been the the finger pointing, finger wagging, just judge, you know, righteous king. Maybe God is wanting to bring you up another level and introduce you to Abba. And He's wanting to introduce you to not just the instruction of the Lord, but the abiding of the Lord. You know, the joy of the Lord. I think that that's that maybe that's something that you can if you're listening again, just a maybe a practical thing that you can look at and judge your life in is do I have joy with my relationship with God? Or is my real is is the only way in which I'm relating to him through my obedience? And please hear me, I'm not saying you have to choose either joy or obedience. I'm saying that that the way in which you relate to your dad matters. And if my children only relate to me out of yes, sir, yes, sir, whatever you say, sir, yes, sir, yes, and there's no laughter, there's no joy, there's no time spent together, there's no, hey, let's just go have fun together. There's no there's no, hey, tell me what's on your heart, what's going on in your life. If there's none of that stuff, then then what we're doing is we're missing out on a level of relationship that we could have had that is actually, you know, established for the fullness of our relationship together. And so, you know, if you're listening today, maybe ask yourself that question, like what does my relationship with God look like? You know, how am I walking? How how am I relating to him? Am I just wishing that he would tell me what to do all the time? Or or or am I am I looking to spend actual just quality time with him, hearing what his heart is all about, you know, burying my heart to him, right? Letting him hear what's going on in my in my life, you know, and I'm am I listening to his instruction? Or maybe, maybe all you're doing is asking him how things are going, but you're not listening to his instruction. That's the other side of it. You know, I'll just love my time with God, yet I don't listen to what he has to say. That's not okay either, you know? And so it's like, are are you are you listening to what his word and his instruction is, you know, or is your life kind of just out of control, doing whatever? Because that's not that's not the fullness of of relationship with him either. So it's it's it's asking yourself and asking him just truthfully, hey, where where where am I? You know, how am I relating with you? Because I want to I want to find the balance of of abiding and instruction. I I want to I want to walk with like the way that I I I envision it, we talk about this all the time actually in counseling, is that the way that we walk in life is we have our our our walking gait, right? Like how we one foot in front of the other and how we walk. And and each step represents something. One side you have the the the representation of comfort, and the other side you have the representation of challenge. So with one foot, I'm comforted, and the other foot I'm challenged. If I'm only challenged all the time, then I end up burning out. But if I'm only comforted all the time, then I never do anything. Right. And so there's a the you walk, there's a balance. You walk with both steps of both comfort and challenge. In the same way with the Lord, it's comfort and challenge. It's it's it's abiding by his his word and his instruction and his principles, and in his presence and his joy and his strength and through worship and and just time spent together. And so allowing him to comfort you in your time of need and also allowing him to challenge you in your time of of sitting, you know. And so I think when we're talking about like things scripturally waiting on the Lord, you know, uh, it's it's what do what do I do when I'm waiting on the Lord? Spend time with him. Right. Spend time with him. You know, maybe he hasn't given you instruction for the next step. Okay, wait by waiting on the Lord, just spend time with him, sit with him. Maybe he's like, hey, let's rest for a minute. You need some rest and you didn't know it. You've just been running and gunning. So let's just let's just enjoy this day.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I often think about like how many people miss out on the beauty of God in a in a regular day because they're only looking for what do you have me do?

Right.

SPEAKER_04

Instead of you've created me from your good pleasure to live and to enjoy this life. And I'm not living and enjoying it because I'm so focused and laser focused on what's my next assignment, what's my next assignment, what's my next assignment? What's next? What's next? What's next? What's next? And he's maybe God is saying, like, hey, let's just breathe and let's enjoy today and let's be today. I'll give you things to do. Yeah. I got plenty of chores for you. But right now I'm bored. Right now I just want to play. Like, let's go take a walk. Let's just spend some, let's go swimming together. You know, like swim in my joy. Like, you know what I mean? Like, but but but so many people miss out on that, and and they will hear that and they'll be like, I I can't. And and that will be their that will be their own prison.

SPEAKER_01

Right. It becomes a box that you place God in, and that's where God stays, isn't that box.

SPEAKER_04

But for those who are willing to continue to grow and to live from repentance, which is changing your mind, and how God is, how you are in him, when you want to live and you choose to live from that place of repentance and humility, I guarantee you God is going to reveal deep and beautiful mysteries uh to you about himself and about you. Yeah. And it's gonna, it's so much fun. Like and and then you find yourself in this place of constant rest and joy and excitement because it's like, man, I'm rested yet, I'm doing all of these things, but I'm also so incredibly rested.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

How is that even how can that be? Because you're living from the presence of God. And in him is rest and also joy.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So what else do you got to say?

SPEAKER_02

You look very rested. I am. I'm just I'm just sitting here listening. Enjoying.

SPEAKER_04

Enjoying.

SPEAKER_02

Listening. Waiting.

SPEAKER_04

I love it. I love it. Awesome. Well, thank you for listening to the Everyday Kingdom podcast. Uh I hope you got something out of today. And I just want to challenge everybody who's listening to uh listen to the Lord. Don't be so worried about uh following and being like, oh, God, you're my marionette. But wait on him, enjoy the time in the waiting, enjoy just the relationship together, listen to his instruction, and uh and and and let Holy Spirit expand your heart and your understanding about who he is and how you can relate with him. I think you'll find that he's bigger than and better than you could even imagine.

SPEAKER_00

So go play, make sure you play, go play, go swim, have some fun, enjoy it.

SPEAKER_04

We'll see you guys next time.
